About Unicef Paid Internships

Finance and Benefits for Unicef Internships

- UNICEF Provides a monthly grant to interns up to 1,700 USD in the following offices: New York, Geneva, Copenhagen or around 70% percent from this grant in the other offices like Tokyo, and Warsaw. 

- A one-time lump amount to help with travel and visa expenses, may also be granted when funding is available

If necessary, UNICEF will provide relevant supporting documents for our visa applications.

- The selected candidate is responsible to ensure that the visa and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract.


Eligibility, What do you need to apply for Unicef internships

- Aged at least 18 years 

- Be a citizen for one of UNICEF Member states.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral program, or have graduated within the last two years.

- Have strong academic performance and motivation.

Additional consideration will be given to any professional experience relevant to the function you’re applying for.

- The candidate must have no immediate family members, such as parents, siblings, or brothers, may work for any UNICEF office.

Required documents to apply for Unicef internships
