A super exciting opportunity for 140 youth workers and young people from Erasmus+ Youth Program Countries to join the "Mental Health in Youth Work: The Inspirational Event" for the year 2025, which takes place in Seville, Spain, from 23-26 September 2025. This is your chance to join one of the largest events full of ideas, tools, and practices that promote mental health and wellbeing in youth work. The event is organised by the EDUFI National Agency of Finland (National Agency), in collaboration with the Instituto de la Juventud, Spain (National Agency), and co-funded by the European Union.
About the Inspirational Event 2025
The Inspirational Event 2025 is one of the largest events for youth workers and young people from all over Europe, and it is full of ideas, tools, practice, and well-being. It is a space to share your own ideas, learn, connect, and promote well-being. The participants will be joining in a form of team ( one youth worker + 1-2 young people from the same country).
During the event, young people can shape the conversation around mental health in youth work. Expect engaging discussions, peer learning, and a supportive environment to explore the topic together. Learn how to offer peer support and be inspired to take action in your own community.
Youth workers will benefit from professional exchanges and acquire practical tools to better support young people’s mental wellbeing. You'll gain deeper insight into young people’s needs and reflect on your own impact in promoting mental health.
What to Expect?
- Interactive workshops are designed for both youth workers and young participants
- Peer-led sessions hosted by Co-Creation Crews of young people from Czechia, Finland, France, Lithuania, and Norway
- Training facilitated by experienced professionals
- Opportunities to contribute, submit your session idea in the application!

Eligibility | Who can apply?
- Applications are open for 140 participants from Erasmus+ Youth Program countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye).
- Form a team of 1 youth worker + 1 or 2 young people (aged 18–24).
- Youth workers should have a meaningful role in an organisation in their country of residence and already know the young people from existing activities.
- Young people should already be involved in the organisation's activities.
- No prior knowledge of mental health is required. Whether you’re completely new to the topic or already have experience, there’s something here for you.
- Participants are expected to have a good knowledge of English, since it is the main language of the event.
Expenses and Benefits
- There is no participation fee required by the organizers of the event.
- The Inspirational Event takes place at Hotel Ilunion Alcora Sevilla, where you will stay in an accessible single room.
- Meals are covered between dinner on September 23 and breakfast on September 26.
