About the JRC traineeships
The European Commission’s science and knowledge service, the Joint Research Centre (JRC), provides independent, evidence-based expertise to support EU policies and create a positive impact on society. The JRC operates across five Member States: Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain. Traineeships will take place at one of the JRC’s sites: Geel (Belgium), Ispra (Italy), Karlsruhe (Germany), Petten (the Netherlands), or Seville (Spain). The JRC promotes a respectful, environmentally conscious workplace, committed to equality of opportunity and non-discrimination.
JRC’s scientific and knowledge work spans a wide range of fields, including agriculture and food security, health, energy, natural resources, industry and space, mobility, culture and inclusiveness, civil security, environment and climate change, nuclear safety, crisis management, migration and population studies, digital transformation, data, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, as well as innovation and economic growth.
