This opportunity is a one-year volunteer project in the Netherlands within the European Solidarity Corps projects which organised at P60 Venue, Amstelveen (near to Amsterdam).
About P60 Venue
An independent, non-profit venue for pop culture and media, since P60 opened its doors in 2001 it has become the cultural heart of Amstelveen (just a 15 bus minutes away from Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport). P60 hosts hundreds of concerts, theatres, festivals, workshops and other cultural and popular events. P60 hosts around 45,000 visitors each year in various events.The work of the P60 is done by a small number of staff and a large number of local volunteers, as well as four volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps. P60 operates in an international environment, working with Trans Europe Halles (www.teh.net) and Erasmus plus.
About Amstelveen
It is a municipality in the province of North Holland, with a population of about 91,000, according to 2021 statistics. Amstelveen has many green spaces, parks and facilities. Amstelveen is distinguished by its location near Amsterdam, as it is 19 kilometers from Amsterdam and a few kilometers from Schiphol Airport. There are many cultural institutions in the city such as the Amstelland Library, the JAN Museum, and the Cobra Museum. You can also practice many sports activities as there are sports fields dedicated to football, field hockey, tennis, curlball, baseball, softball, athletics, rugby and cricket grounds. Furthermore, in Amstelveen there is a de Merkamp pool with several indoor and outdoor pools.
Volunteer Tasks
P60 needs 4 international volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps ready to assist them in the following activities
1- Customer Service
They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and has high energy who can help out with the bar work, Providing meals for volunteers and artists, box office, and hosting service for visitors.
2- video
They are looking for someone with video experience to help them broadcast/ stream and record concerts, edit promotional movies and publish them on social media.
3- Graphic design
They are looking for an enthusiastic person who can make posters, flyers for on-line and off-line media to promote parties and festivals.
Finance
- Travel Expense To and From Netherlands are compensated by P60.
- Free accommodation, the 4 volunteers will live together in full equiped house just 5 walk minutes away from P60 Venue.
- You will live in your own private room and you will share living room, kitchen, bathroom and garden with another ESC volunteers.
- Pocket money is 5 euro daily.
- Food money is 180 euro monthly, you can eat for free in P60 if you are helping with the pre-production events.
- You will get your own bike and 40 euro monthly for local transport.
Duration
A total of 12 months during the period 01/09/2022 to 30/08/2023.
Eligibility
- Your age between 18-30 years old.
- You are a resident in one of the following countries:

- Have basic level English Skills.
- It's so important! you love music.
- You are flexible and don’t have a problem with working during the evenings.
- You are interested in Customer service or Visual design.
