About One Young World
One Young World summit brings together annually more than 2,000 youth leaders in various sectors from more than 190 countries around the world, working together to accelerate social impact in society. Delegates are counselled by influential leaders around the world. Participants have the opportunity to challenge world leaders, interact with influencers and industry experts, and forge lasting relationships with them. Delegates participate in 4 days of workshops, seminars, speeches and panel discussions, share a platform with top world leaders and communicate their messages to top global media.
About the Scholarship
The One Young World Peace Ambassador Scholarship, offered by the One Young World Foundation in partnership with the European Commission, aims to empower young people to build more cohesive and peaceful societies.
Scholarship recipients will participate in the One Young World Summit 2022, which will see 2,000 young leaders from over 190 countries descend on Manchester to participate in the Global Young Leaders Forum. During the summit, delegates will present and discuss solutions to the most pressing issues of our time alongside senior leaders. Scholarship recipients will join a community of more than 200 Peace Ambassadors who have participated in the program since 2017. The 2022 Peace Ambassador Program will focus on the role of disinformation in fueling hate speech, conflict and violent extremism.

Eligibility
- Your age between 18 - 30 Years by 5 September 2022
- Candidates need to be actively engaged in the fields of peace building, conflict resolution, tackling disinformation, or countering violent extremism.
- Able to attend the programme full time between 5 - 8 September 2022
