An opportunity to attend an international training Course in Turkey for a week with the aim of training participants on local governance and making them leaders in the future. The program will be organised and fully funded by the Federation of Municipalities of Turkey.

About the Program
The International Local Authorities Internship Program is an international training program annually organised by Union of Municipalities of Türkiye with the aim of providing local governance training to the participants through instructions, practical examples and field visits including social activities and trips to various cities in Türkiye.
Since the program was organised in 2012, it provides an international training environment to a wide range of participants from all over the world, especially from Europe, Asia and the Middle East, with the aim of learning, socialising and seeing good practices along with examples of local work.
As the previous ones the program will facilitate trainings, field visits and social-cultural activities for future local leaders. Union of Municipalities of Türkiye looks forward to hosting valuable young participants and to provide them with a beneficial local governance experience.

Finance and Benefits
All expenses will be covered by the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye.
- There is no application or participation fee.
- Travel Expenses from your country to and from Türkiye will be Covered the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye.
- Free accommodation and meals for all participants.
- field visits and social-cultural activities for future local leaders.
Who can Apply?
- Last year students or new graduates of one of these fields ( Law - political Science - Economics - Administrative Sciences - International Relations - Communication - Statistics - Urban/Regional Planning - Sociology - other related Sciences )
- Participants from all nationalities are eligible especially (European, Asian and Middle Eastern countries).
- Have a Good command of English language ( No need for English Certificate)
