Erasmus+ Partnership Building Activity "Let's meet up 2.0" in France (Fully Funded)

An excellent opportunity for the Youth workers from Europe to attend Partnership Building activity about Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges for 6 days ( travel days included) in Mulhouse, France. The project is to  strengthen and develop cooperation between different youth from different organisations in Europe active in the youth field.

About the PBA

“Let’s meet up 2.0” is a Partnership Building Activity  for youth workers and youth leaders from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries. 24 people will gather in Mulhouse, from Sunday October 15th to Friday October 20th 2023. The aim of the project is to bring together youth exchange leaders and youth workers, in order to build strong and sustainable partnerships for Erasmus+ youth exchanges.

The activities of the project will consist of different activities such as:

- Debriefing

- Tandem learning

- Evaluations

- Work in group and individual work

- Group discussion

- Group and individual presentation

- Personal and group reflection

- Public speaking

- Escape area (for individual reflection)

- Preparation


About Mulhouse

Mulhouse is a french city, which is close to the German and Swiss borders. It is the largest city in Haut-Rhin and, after Strasbourg, the second-largest in Alsace.

Mulhouse is well-known for its museums, particularly the Cité de l'Automobile (also called the National Museum of the Automobile, or "National Museum of the Automobile") and the Cité du Train (also called the French Museum of the Railway, or "French Museum of the Railway"), which are the largest automobile and railroad museums in the world, respectively. Mulhouse is also the main seat of the Upper Alsace University, where the secretariat of the European Physical Society is found.


Eligibility 

- The participants must come from one of the countries below:

Austria, Belgium - DE, Belgium - FL, Belgium - FR, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey

- Minimum age 18 years old, there is no maximum age.

- Active member of an NGO or organisation with a valid OID number (newcomers are welcomed)

Youth worker or leader of Erasmus+ youth exchanges (also participant with less/fewer opportunities)

- Have a good command of English language 

Motivation to take active part in all workshops during the activity


Finance and Benefits

This project is fully funded by Erasmus+ Programme of European Union and includs:

- There is no registration or participation fee.

- The accommodation is free for all the participants in B&B Hotel Mulhouse Centre. the participants will stay in double rooms with two single beds. 

Each room has a private bathroom (with shower, sink and toilet) and a television. 

The hotel is fully non smoking. Wi-Fi is available and free.

The food is provided for free, The breakfast (a buffet) will be served at the hotel. the lunch and dinner will be be provided by a local restaurant next to the activities place. 

The activities will be held at the “Maison des Associations de Bourtzwiller”, It's located 15 minutes by tram from the hotel (tram tickets will be provided)

Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the lump sum of Erasmus+ program taking into account the distance between your organisation and the place of the project 

  • for travel distance between 0 and 99 km: 23 EUR / person.
  • for travel distance between 100 and 499 km: 180 EUR / person, +30 EUR extra for Green travel.
  • for travel distance between 500 and 1999 km: 275 EUR / person, +45 EUR extra for Green travel.
  • for travel distance between 2000 and 2999 km: 360 EUR / person, +50 EUR extra for Green travel.
Visa’s fees will not be reimbursed.

  • IMPORTANT: keep all your travel documents! Online boarding passes and tickets for reimbursements. No documents = No reimbursement!
- Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity.


What to Bring?

- Your passport or ID

- European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) 

- Credit card if you have one for your personal expenses

Any medicine you may need, the organisers will not provide any medicines during the PBA
