Eligibility | Who can apply for Chevening Scholarship ?

Chevening scholarships outstanding talented from all over the world to pursue one-year master's degree in the UK. To apply for Chevening scholarships you have to met the following requirement:-

- Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory you can check if your country is exist in the list or no from HERE.

- Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university by the time you submit your application. 

- There is no upper age limit to apply.

Have at least two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience. work experience is not only about a professional job. It also adds your volunteer work, unpaid internships, paid internships, etc. A work week is defined as between 35 and 60 hours, and a work year is defined as between 40 and 50 weeks for this calculation. Everything over the maximum allowable hours of work per week is disqualified.

- Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by the deadline listed on the application timeline.

- Chevening has removed their English language requirement for anyone applying for the Chevening Scholarship from 2021 to 2022 and onwards. However, you’ll still need to meet all the English language requirements of your selected university in the UK and get accepted from one of your chosen universities in the course of your choice by the cut-off date to submit the application.

Do I need to translate my university transcripts before I upload them to the Chevening application form?
