Erasmus+ CME "Game Zone" in Viljandimaa, Estonia (Funded)

Open call for 25 participants from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries to apply for the Contact Making Event"Game Zone" from 4-10 June 2024 in Vanaõue Puhkekeskus, Estonia. This project is organised by Shokkin Group in Estonia and co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ programme.

About "Game Zone"

"Game Zone" is one-week event designed for youth workers, youth leaders, trainers, educators, high school teachers, NGO workers, and decision makers interested in international cooperation and game-based learning. During the event, Participants will have the chance to meet international partners from different countries, get to know educational tools, showcase your educational games and generate collaboration ideas. This event is most useful for those who are motivated and ready to build international partnership and projects under Erasmus+ and the other European programs.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- The CME is open for residents of Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries who are over 18 years old, there is no maximum age limit;

- Participants must be able to follow the all activities of the seminar;

- Participants must be able to work and communicate in English;

- Participants must be part from youth organisation, high school, youth centre, training centre which have a work with young people.


Practical conditions & Benefits

This event is co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ programme.

- There is a participation fee 20 EUR / participant.

The training will be organised in Vanaõue PuhkekeskusAccommodation will be provided in en-suite rooms of 2-4 people of the same gender and mixed countries.

The event will take place in a conference room and in some outdoor working spaces if the weather allows.

Your travel costs will be reimbursed by the host organisation. there is a fixed maximum amount reimbursable for your individual trip costs to Viljandi. Travel costs exceeding the maximum reimbursable amount will not be covered.

Note: According to Erasmus+ program rules, there are limits for the travel reimbursements depends on the direct distance between your place and the project venue as follows:
  • for travel distance between 10 and 99 km: 23 EUR / person
  • for travel distance between 100 and 499 km: 150 EUR / person
  • for travel distance between 500 and 1999 km: 255 EUR / person
  • for travel distance between 2000 and 2999 km: 340 EUR / person
  • for travel distance between 3000 and 3999 km: 480 EUR / person

- Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity.


What to bring?

 - A valid medical insurance (i.e. European Health Insurance Card) during your travel and a separate travel insurance (must cover damage or loss of luggage, accidents and serious illness, death)

- Indoor shoes/socks/flip flops for inside the house!

- Personal water bottle

- Your swimsuit if you want to enjoy an old sauna tradition in Estonia.


Timeline

Application deadline: 5th of April 2024

Date os Selection: 8th of April 2024

Arrival day: Participants should arrive in Viljandi before 19:30 on June 4th, 2024

Departure day: 10th of June 2024 at anytime

The last night will be spent in Tallinn. At your own expense you can stay in the region up to 4 days before OR after the activity.
