"Promoting eARTh" is a 5 days Erasmus+ training course aims to increase the awareness and understanding to issues related to environmental education and climate change, combining traditional and digital arts. the main objectives for the training are:
- 22 participants will take part in a five-day non-formal education training workshop that combines traditional and digital arts to increase participants' knowledge and comprehension of environmental education and climate change.
- Equip the 22 participants a foundational understanding of the main environmental concerns.
- Provide participants a solid knowledge of a range of artistic mediums, including digital and traditional arts, to enable them to communicate environmental themes in an efficient manner.
- Empower participants with fundamental skills to leverage digital art and social media successfully, enabling them and local artists to magnify environmental messages, attract a wider audience, and inspire local action.
- Enable participants with necessary knowledge to conduct and organise workshops on art as a dual-purpose tool—increasing awareness about environmental issues and discovering recycling as a solution to these.
- Teach the participants how to use social media campaigns as the main means of promoting messages and actions pertaining to the arts and environmental issues.
The training is addressed for 22 participants from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, who fit the following conditions :
- Be resident in one of the following countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye)
- You are over 18 years old without maximum age limit;
- You are a youth worker, an educator or a volunteer that work with young people;
- Art and environment enthusiasts;
- Individuals with an interest in topics such as environmental education and climate change;
- Able to participate for the entire duration of the training course;
- Have a good command of English at least medium level;
- Open minded and inclusive;
- Being an active member from Youth organisation that work with the young people especially those who are involved in European projects such as Erasmus+ and European Solidarity corps.
Financial conditions and Benefits
This training is co-funded by the European union through Erasmus plus programme.
- There is no participation fee required by the host organisation
- Accommodation and food for the duration of the TC will be covered 100% by the host organisation with Erasmus+ funding.
- Your travel costs will be reimbursed by the host organisation via bank transfer after the activity and sending the follow-up activity to the host organisation
- Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity.
Note: According to Erasmus+ program rules, there are limits for the travel reimbursements depends on the direct distance between your place and the project venue as follows:
- for travel distance between 10 and 99 km: 23 EUR / person
- for travel distance between 100 and 499 km: 180 EUR / person
- for travel distance between 500 and 1999 km: 275 EUR / person
- for travel distance between 2000 and 2999 km: 360 EUR / person
- for travel distance between 3000 and 3999 km: 530 EUR / person
- for travel distance between 4000 and 7999 km: 820 EUR / person
