An excellent opportunity for the active youth who interesting in sustainable development from all the countries to join the Youth Sustainable Development Conference 2024 for the first time in North Africa, Rabat, Morocco. This conference is organised by Youth Sustainable Development Network (YSDN) and co-hosted by the African Youth Climate Hub.
About the Conference
YSDC-Rabat 2024 is an international conference aims to contribute to the combined efforts supporting youth-led solutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) worldwide. The 2024 YSDC celebrates its sixth year, building upon the achievements of past conferences. In a significant achievement, the 2023 YSDC, held at Emory University in Atlanta, became the first-ever international energy conference at the historic university, founded in 1836.
The YSDC-EMORY 2023 conference tackled critical issues around climate and energy justice. It assembled young leaders from across the globe to engage in discussions with prominent figures like Consuls General and a First Secretary. These esteemed representatives offered their countries' perspectives on climate and energy justice, particularly regarding the Paris Agreement. This exchange fostered a deeper understanding of international efforts to combat climate change and ensure equitable energy access.
The conference theme is Building the Future - Spotlighting Youth-led Solutions for Global Sustainability. The sessions of the conference will be at Hassan II International Environmental Training Center, Rabat, Morocco
Eligibility | Who can apply?
- Candidates must be aged between 18 - 35 years of age at the time of the conference.
- Individuals from all the nationalities can apply for YSDC 2024.
- Candidates must have good level in spoken and written English, since the conference will be conducted in English.
- Able to participate actively in all the sessions during the conference.
Note: Any delegates found to be absconding without valid reason and prior communication to the organisers will be blacklisted from attending subsequent YSDC's.
