EWL's AGORA Summer Camp 2024 in Brussels, Belgium 2024 (Fully Funded)

About AGORA Summer Camp

Through workshops and networking, AGORA encourages solidarity, empowerment, and collaboration across borders. This initiative isn't an academic program but a safe space for sharing knowledge and building feminist strategies.

In response to the recent social, economic, and political challenges, the EWL is dedicated to nurturing the new generation of young feminists. The AGORA project serves as a crucial element in this endeavour, with the following objectives:

1. Revitalise and strengthen the activism of young European women.

2. Facilitate connections among diverse young feminists to promote mutual learning.

3. Create a creative space for emerging feminist change agents to develop their activism.

4. Promote solidarity, empower young feminist activists, and encourage cross-border collaboration to enhance inclusivity and amplify the voices of feminist networks in Europe.

5. Explore the concept of feminist leadership and power dynamics.

6. Enable the EWL to gain a deeper understanding of the interests, needs, and activities of young feminists, integrating these insights into the core of EWL’s future strategy and actions.

The AGORA program lasts for five days and provides an inclusive environment for participants to exchange ideas, find inspiration, and enhance skills through workshops and sharing of expertise.

It's important to highlight that AGORA prioritises knowledge sharing, co-creation, and exploring issues, setting itself apart from an academic summer school or study visit. The residential program requires full commitment from selected participants, including attendance at all sessions, organised dinners, and some allocated free time.
