An excellent annual opportunity for students from all over the world to attend the Official Summer School of the University of Bucharest for Economic Studies in the Capital of Romania. This year’s topic for BSU is Digital Transformation For New Business Models.

About Bucharest Summer University

The Bucharest Summer University is an international cultural and academic event, which will take place between from 11th to 25th of August 2024 for its 18th edition. In this year speakers and professors from top universities and companies around the world will together in the campus of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, including one extended weekend to explore particular destinations across the country. This year’s topic is Digital Transformation For New Business Models.

BSU will be organised by The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), the Bucharest University of Economic Studies Students’ Union (USASE) through the Students’ Senate, the Association of Faculties of Economics from Romania (AFER), with the academic mentoring of the The Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ)

Who can Apply? 

- All university students from all levels ( Bachelor and Masters ).

- All University students from Europe and all over the world.

Finance and Benefits

In order to take part, you have to choose between three categories of applications: Full Scholarship , Partial Payment or Total Payment

For Full Scholarship

Price: free

For Partial Payment

Price: 400 € (Early Bird)

Price: 500 € (Late Bird)

Deadline: Early bird: 1st of May 2024, and Late bird: 1st of June 2024

For Total Payment

Price: 700 €* (Early Bird)

Price: 800 € (Late bird)

Deadline: Early bird: 1st of May 2024, and Late bird: 1st of June 2024

During BSU, the organising team will guarantee you the following:

• Accommodation 
• 3 meals per day.
• Transport from and to the airport
• Weekend trip (hotels, meals, transportation)
• Courses and extracurricular activities.

- None of the payment methods include transportation costs for coming and leaving Romania.

You need to fill in the application form, upload CV, Motivation letter and an essay (sent using the Application form)

About the essay:

Format: 2000 words (Times New Roman, Size 12, Spacing 1,5 | Save it as a WORD document)

Topic: Cross-border e-commerce revolution. Analyzing Shein’s rise and its global impact

Essay Structure:

1- Short intro with your motivation and the subject discussed

2- Presentation of the issue regarding FinTech vs traditional financial services

3- Your opinion about the issue

4- Conclusion

- For Partial Payment

You need to send CV and a Motivation letter using the application form

- For Total Payment

you need to send your CV using the application form

Timeline

- For Full Scholarship

Deadline: 20th of May 2024

Results: 1st of June 2024 (if no deadline extension is applied)

- For Partial Payment 

Deadline: 1st of May 2024 (Early Bird) or 1st of June (Late Bird)

Results: up to 3 weeks after sending your application

- For Total Payment

Results: in maximum 48 hours after sending your application
