An excellent opportunity for hundreds of undergraduate and graduate degree students from all the accredited higher educational institution  worldwide to join the KDU Global Immersion Program (KGIP) in South Korea. This project lasts for 4 weeks, organised and funded by Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global), South Korea.

About KDU Global Immersion Program

KDU Global Immersion Program (KGIP) is an annual event organised by Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global), South Korea for hundreds of international and Korean students from all over the world to provide an opportunity to build international networks, experience, and learn about different cultures and values, enhance language, interpersonal, and career-tailored professional skills through customised courses, exciting events, trips, and activities in the most popular touristic areas of South Korea!

This year, KGIP 2024 offers two sessions for the selected international students:

Session I: Global Networking and Cultural Immersion

          • Will be for a period of 4 weeks from July 15 to August 9, 2024 
          • Provides an exciting environment for international and Korean students to create networks, build friendships, and exchange cultures.
          • Expose participants to engaging and fun activities and sessions on contemporary vogues of South Korea including Korean language, culture, and history, K-Beauty, K-Pop, K-Cuisine, and K-Sports.
          • Offers trips to the most attractions, popular industrial and cultural sites around Korea!

Session II: Global Student Mobility -Academic Semester

           • Will be for 16 weeks from August 26, 2024, to December 13, 2024 (Fall’24 Semester).
           • Allows international students to register for credit-bearing academic courses at KDU Global.
           • Provides attractive focuses in Business, Computer Science, Korean Studies, and Hospitality.
           • Embodies exciting field trips throughout Korea.
           • Provides chances for community service and cultural activities.

International students have the option to join either Session I (July 15 ~ August 9, 2024) or Session II (August 26 ~ December 13, 2023) of KGIP 2024, or they can choose to participate in both sessions.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- Be an international student enrolled to undergraduate or graduate degree program in any accredited higher educational institution

- Be on older than 35 years old

Be able to show excellent academic performance record.

Be able to meet D-2-8 (short term study) visa requirements.

- Be in Good Health


Required documents

1. Application Form and Statement of Interest (Online).

2. Passport copy (your passport must be valid)

3. A certificate of enrolment from your current university/ institution

4. Academic transcript of grades from Current University

5. A copy of your high school diploma/ certificate 

6.  A personal photo (passport size)

Note: Documents must be in English, if not then all the documents must be translated into English and and notarised if originally issued in other languages.

IMPORTANT:  Items 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 above must be scanned and combined into one PDF file and must be renamed as “Country_LastName” (Example: “Egypt_Eladly”) and uploaded.

For those who ONLY pass the screening stage will be contacted with additional guidelines to submit the following documents

Certified copy of Certificate of Enrolment/ confirmation of study from Current University (Apostilled/Certified)

Certified copy of High School Graduation Certificate/Diploma

Bank Balance Certificate / Bank statement for the applicant

Application Fee Payment Receipt (250 US dollars)


Expenses and Benefits

International students admitted to KGIP2024 will be granted KDU Global Scholarship. KDU Global scholarship covers the following:

- the full tuition for the 4 weeks program, on-campus dormitory fee, continental breakfast (Session I)

- All dormitory rooms have private toilets and bathrooms. The capacity of a room is two students.

- Organisational and transportation costs of field trips, tours, and activities during the entire period of program.

- Participants are responsible for their own airfares to/from Korea, transportation between Incheon International Airport and KDU Global, health insurance, and other subsistence and personal expenses.
