About GCRP 2024
The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP), the flagship training initiative of the Cultural Relations Platform, offers a unique chance for global practitioners to connect and explore cross-cultural collaborations. The 2024 edition welcomes cultural and creative professionals, as well as those working to create safer societies.
It's an ideal opportunity to develop lifelong skills, increase your knowledge, build your international network, and engage in interdisciplinary cross-cultural collaboration. This year the GCRP will take place in Marrakech, Morocco from 25 – 28 November 2024. The programme will be conducted in English.

Eligibility | Who can apply?
- The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP) is open to participants from all over the world, so all nationalities are eligible to participate.
- The Cultural Relations Platform is looking for 40 professionals and entrepreneurs working in the cultural and creative sectors OR in creating safer societies.
- Participants should be aged 25-39, with at least three years’ experience in global/international/cross-cultural collaboration.
- You might work for a public, private, or civil society organisation, or you could be a freelancer.
- You must be able to commit to the programme from 25-28 November 2024 and allocate time for travel to and from Marrakech.
- Participants must have a good command in English.
Financial conditions
- The CRP will cover the costs of the travel, visa, and any related paperwork.
- The accommodation from 24 to 28 November 2024 and any expenses during the programme hours (such as catering) will be covered by the programme.
- The programme doesn't cover the international health insurance, so you may be required to purchase as part of the visa application process.
Note: If you choose to extend your stay in Marrakech, you will need to pay for all related expenses for any additional days.

Application deadline: 14 July 2024, midnight Central European Summer Time (CEST)
Selection result: Mid- to late August, Applicants will be informed by email
Arrival day: 24 November 2024, Participants arrive in Marrakech
Programme activities: 25-28 November 2024
Departure day: 29 November 2024
