About the Volunteering
ACARBIO is a non-profit organisation operating on the Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO site. They focus on conserving the local environment and cultural heritage while supporting local communities through social work. The project will take place in the town of Maiori, where volunteers will engage in community activities and protect the sea, including turtle monitoring and raising awareness about sea turtles (some activities may be early in the morning). Specifically, volunteers will assist the local museum of Maiori, known for its beautiful frescoes, and the city garden (some evening shifts are required, such as the museum from 18:00 to 00:00).
