The Evergreen Project, Agroforestry and Fire Protection Fundamentals | ESC Volunteering in Greece (Fully Funded)

About the volunteering

The Project was established as a non-profit organisation in early 2021 in Anavra, Fthiotis, situated on a picturesque 5.4-acre piece of forested land at the base of Mount Kallidromo in Central Greece. Its primary mission is to heal and empower individuals without discrimination, helping them connect with their emotions and enhance their self-awareness through activities that blend wellbeing, nature, and eco-living practices. Daily activities include maintaining and nurturing the land and contributing to the project's growth. These tasks encompass organic farming using permaculture principles, natural building, woodworking, forestry, and sustainable water and waste management. The ultimate goal is to further develop and expand the permaculture garden, natural buildings, and transform the land into a self-sufficient eco-village. Volunteers at the Project will also gain knowledge about yoga and mindful living.
