"Team For Healthy Life 3" | ESC Teams Volunteering in southern Italy (Fully Funded)

An exciting opportunity for 15 volunteers from EU countries to join the ESC Volunteering project "Team for Healthy Life 3.0" at the Organic farm "L’Arca" in Belvedere Marittimo, Italy for a period of two months from 30 March to 29 May 2025. This volunteering project is organised by "Associazione Joint" and funded by the European Union through the European Solidarity Corps Programme.

About  "T4HL3"

"Team For Healthy Life 3" is an ESC project aims to promote wellbeing and healthy lifestyle. Volunteers will carry out agricultural activities 4 days a week, 6 hours a day, mostly during the morning farming hours (from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm). One day per week will be dedicated to workshops. The days off may vary depending on the activities but there will always be 2 days off.

Examples of tasks:

• working in the greenhouses;
• cleaning green spaces and animal areas;
• planting;
• harvesting fruits and vegetables;
• digging soil.

Workshops such as beach cleaning, pottery, basket weaving, rafting and cooking tortilla offer the opportunity to connect with nature and discover local traditions. They promote social inclusion by bringing people together and encourage conscious nutrition.These experiences combine fun, creativity and community, improving personal well-being. There will be space for workshops proposed and facilitated by volunteers as well: any type of art or talent is welcom

Important note: It is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol and use drugs on the territory of the FARM L’ARCA. This rule applies not only for the volunteers safety but also for the comfort and respect of the farm staff. 

Eligibility | Who can apply?

- Young people aged between 18-30;

- A resident in one of the following countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary, Netherlands, Luxembourg);

- Ready to share private spaces with the team;

- Adaptable, open-minded, proactive, and respectful;

- ready to do physical or manual work outdoors and "get hands dirty";

- Positive, peaceful attitude, and flexible to possible changes;

- there is no any education or work experience required.

Expenses and Benefits

- Your basic costs will be covered (your travel to and from the project, and the accommodation place in Belvedere Marittimo, Italy).

- The volunteers will accommodated in triple rooms with an inner bathroom.

- Breakfast (Italian sweet breakfast) + Lunch + Dinner (meals will be prepared by the chef of L'Arca with a fixed menu). Everything extra the volunteer need to pay by themself. Vegetarian option is provided.

- Each volunteer is entitled to receive a pocket money of 17 EUR/day for personal expenses ((the traveling expenses, visa and insurance costs are NOT included)

- Volunteers are entitled to receive a youthpass certificate for their participation in the ESC Volunteering project.

Vacation days: 23- 29th of May 2025 

Departure day: 29th of May 2025
