An open call for 12 volunteers from ESC Programme countries to join a two-week ESCVolunteering Teams project which takes place on the grounds of Nõva Primary School (Nõva Põhikool), located in North-West Estonia. This Volunteer camp is organised by The NGO Youth Exchange Development Society EstYES in collaboration with the Lukas Basket sports club, and funded by the European Solidarity Corps programme of the European Union.
About the volunteering
For over 15 years, EstYES, in collaboration with the Lukas Basket sports club, has been organizing activity camps for young people from all over Europe in the village of Nõva, located in North-West Estonia. These camps bring together around 150 participants each year, offering an exciting mix of sports, outdoor activities, and community service.
Before the camp season starts, there is a lot of preparation activities needed to create a welcoming and well-maintained environment. This is where (ESC) volunteers come in! From May 15 to May 30, 12 volunteers will contribute their energy and skills to prepare the camp area, support the local community, and help with environmental conservation. Additionally, volunteers will engage in meaningful activities, such as assisting elderly residents, cleaning public spaces, and planting trees in collaboration with the local forestry department. This project is a fantastic opportunity to experience teamwork, contribute to a local initiative, and enjoy the beautiful Estonian nature.
