An exciting opportunity for 40 young leaders and changemakers from the Atlantic Basin and Africa who are shaping the future through action, innovation, and dialogue to apply for the ADEL Program 2025, which will take place in Rabat, Morocco, from 7 to 13 December 2025. The Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADEL) program is organized and funded by the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS).

PCNS is a think tank based in Rabat, Morocco. It promotes dialogue, research, and policy solutions across regions, especially in the Atlantic Basin and Africa. The organization aims to unite global decision-makers, thought leaders, and experts to engage in constructive discussions and foster collaborative approaches to regional and global challenges.
About ADEL 2025
The Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADEL) is a prestigious, fully funded leadership program by the Policy Center for the New South. It brings together 40+ young changemakers (ages 25–35) from across Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean — shaping the future through innovation and dialogue.

Eligibility | Who can apply?
- Young professionals and change makers aged between 25-35 years old (as of May 7th, 2025);
- Participants must be citizens or residents of countries in the Atlantic Basin (Africa, North/Central/South America, Europe, or the Caribbean);
- Participants must be fluent in English;
- Available for the full period of the program (December 7–13, 2025);
- Show leadership potential and a strong professional track record;
- Committed to creating impact in their communities and fields (public, private, civil society…)
- Eager to engage across cultures and contribute to the Emerging Leaders and Atlantic Dialogues networks.
Expenses and logistics
For the 40+ selected participants, PCNS will cover:
- Round-trip economy airfare from your country to Rabat and back.
- Hotel accommodation including three meals per day.
- Local transportation in Morocco.
What is expected of you?
- Full attendance and engagement during both the ADEL program and the Atlantic Dialogues conference.
- Active participation in sessions, discussions, and group work.
- Continued involvement as an ambassador and contributor to the ADEL community.
- Readiness to collaborate with PCNS to shape the Future of the program.

Selection process
A selection committee will review all applications and notify candidates in September 2025. Please note that selection is highly competitive and based on a comprehensive evaluation of each applicant. Candidates will be assessed according to several criteria, including professional achievement and growth, leadership potential and demonstrated impact in their community or field, interest in issues affecting Wider Atlantic relations, and a clear commitment to global, Atlantic, and/or local engagement.
