About the Training Course

"Rural life with sustainable bites!" is a 7-day-long training course focused on healthy eating habits for sustainability based on the Sustainable Development Goals. The project centers on sustainable eating, with a focus on whole foods and plant-based diets as a pathway to improved personal health and environmental sustainability. By exploring the farm-to-fork strategy, the training aims to equip youth workers with the knowledge and skills to help young people make informed dietary choices that reduce their carbon footprint, support ethical farming, and promote a more sustainable food system.

The training course "Rural Life with Sustainable Bites!" aims to empower youth workers with the skills, knowledge, and motivation to promote sustainable eating habits, especially plant-based diets, within the framework of the EU Farm-to-Fork Strategy. The course focuses on the impact of food choices on personal health (SDG 3), responsible consumption (SDG 12), and climate action (SDG 13), while also enhancing intercultural dialogue and European values.
