An exciting opportunity for 40 young people aged between 18 and 30 years old from different countries to join a 17-day inspiring volunteering project in Konya, Turkiye. "Together in Konya: One Team, Many Stories" is a short-term ESC Volunteering project that takes place in Selçuklu/Konya, Türkiye, from the 22nd of August to the 7th of September 2025. This volunteering project is organised by "Stichting Cultined" and funded by the European Solidarity Corps programme of the European Union.
About Volunteering
An exciting opportunity for 40 young people to get a life-changing experience where diversity is celebrated and everyone is welcome. Over 17 inspiring days, Participants will be able to take part in a truly special volunteering project. This is more than just giving your time; it’s about forming real connections, breaking down barriers, and making a positive impact.
Whether you are blind, have a cognitive or physical disability, or simply wish to contribute in an inclusive environment, you are welcome here. We believe every person has something valuable to offer, and we are dedicated to making this journey accessible, meaningful, and empowering for all.

Eligibility | Who can apply?
- Aged between 18 and 30 years old and living in one of ESC Programme countries or the neighbouring countries to the EU.
- Open to collaborating with people with disabilities in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Curious about different cultures and motivated by the values of solidarity and inclusion.
- Empathetic, reflective, and socially engaged, with a willingness to share and learn.
- Facing fewer opportunities in daily life, such as:
- Health challenges
- Economic hardship
- Social or cultural barriers
- Educational difficulties
- Geographical isolation
- No specific skills or experience required — only a positive attitude, an inclusive mindset, and a willingness to grow together.
Expenses and Benefits
- Participants will be accommodated in shared rooms with 2-4 participants, including access to a living room, kitchen and bathroom.
- There are no loundry facilities, air conditioning, or Wi-Fi.
- A quiet or low-stimulus space is available for those who need it.
- The venue is fully accessible for participants with visual or cognitive disabilities.
- Food allowance: €5 per day for food and drinks during your stay. Tap water is drinkable. You can cook meals by yourself or with the group. It’s up to you!
- Local Transport: most of activities are located within a 30-minute walking distance from the accommodation.
- Your international travel expenses will be reimbursed according to the distance between your home and Turkiye, according to the following limits:
- from 10 – 99 km - 56 EUR (Green Travel)/ 28 EUR (Non-Green Travel)
- from 100 – 499 km - 285 EUR (Green Travel)/ 211 EUR (Non-Green Travel)
- from 500 – 1999 km - 417 EUR (Green Travel)/ 309 EUR (Non-Green Travel)
- from 2000 – 2999 km - 395 EUR (Green Travel)/ 535 EUR (Non-Green Travel)

- IMPORTANT: Keep all your travel documents! Online boarding passes and tickets for reimbursements. No documents = No reimbursement!
- IMPORTANT: Please send your travel proposition by email to the organisers and wait for their confirmation before purchasing your tickets!
- Participants are entitled to receive a YouthPass certificate after the project, where you are expected to self-assess your own learning, and you can add it to your CV.

Arrival day: 22th of August 2025
Departure day: 7th of September 2025
Note: You have 4 extra days in total that you can use before or after the project to travel around Turkiye. If you wish to do so, bear in mind that you need to cover the costs for your accommodation & food. Late arrivals or early departures are not allowed.
