About the Seminar

The European Citizenship Academy Seminar is designed to provide spaces for learning, exchange, and both professional and personal growth for young youth workers. Its main objectives are to:

  • Promote a deeper knowledge and understanding of the EU among young people.
  • Encourage and strengthen their active participation as informed citizens.
  • Support youth workers in delivering European education within their target groups.
  • Foster lasting partnerships between European organisations focused on education about Europe.
  • Produce accessible, clear, and relevant information that young people can co-create and use to enhance their engagement.

The project seeks to add real value to youth work by reinforcing the role youth workers play in helping young people shape Europe’s future. It highlights peer education as a proven and effective approach across various sectors.

This seminar is part of the LEMON network (Learning Europe through Mobility and Opportunities Network), which focuses on developing long-term projects to maximise impact and continuously improve youth work.
