FoWA Skills Sprint | AI, Energy & Supply Chains Event in Istanbul, Turkiye (Funded)

An open call for young people and professionals from Europe and Central Asia who are interested in artificial intelligence, green energy, and digital tools to apply for the "Future of Work Academy Skills Sprint — AI, Energy & Supply Chains" event, which takes place in Istanbul, Turkiye, from 20-22 November 2025. This event is organized and financed by the UNDP in Europe and Central Asia, MEXT Digital Factory, and Hepsiburada. 

About the "Skills Sprint" event

The world of work is transforming fast driven by AI, green energy, and digital logistics. To help young professionals across Europe and Central Asia stay ahead, the UNDP, MEXT Digital Factory, and Hepsiburada (NASDAQ: HEPS) are hosting a three-day, hands-on workshop that connects learning, technology, and sustainability.

The Future of Work Academy Skills Sprint will unite young professionals, innovators, and FoWA alumni to examine how data, automation, and green technologies are transforming industries and reshaping careers. Through hands-on sessions, live demonstrations, and employer-led workshops, participants will gain practical insights into the key skills shaping the future of work in the coming decade.

During these 3 days, Participants will:

- Explore how AI and smart manufacturing are reshaping industries

- Discover innovations in digital commerce and logistics

- Join team-based sprints tackling real sustainability challenges

- Connect directly with employers and experts in Türkiye’s Industry 4.0 ecosystem.

Eligibility | Who can apply?

- Young people from the UNDP Europe and Central Asia region include: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

- Participants must be able to communicate in English effectively, so it's the main language of the event.

- There is no age limit set by the organizers to apply.

Expenses and Benefits 

- There is no participation or registration fee to join this event.

- All costs related to accommodation and meals will be covered by the organizers.

- Travel expenses will be covered for participants from outside Istanbul.
