On the Path to Solidarity - Seeds of Volunteering 2025 in Italy

About the Volunteering

The project aims to create a team of volunteers who will support the organization in two international activities on youth work, volunteering, and active participation, with a special focus on rural areas.

The activities will take place in Cagliari and partly in the rural municipalities of Nurri and Masullas, to highlight the importance of connecting urban and rural communities through youth initiatives. The events will bring together young activists, youth leaders, and youth workers from across Europe to exchange practices, explore European programs, and strengthen the role of volunteering in youth participation and local development.

The volunteers will commit for 22 days, contributing to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities. Their role will be central in supporting logistics, communication, information outreach, participant engagement, and facilitation of intercultural exchange.

The volunteers will receive on-spot training in the first days of the project, delivered by the coordinating organization on the following topics: Non-formal education; ESC and volunteering programs; Cultural diversity and intercultural learning; Conflict Management; Sardinian and Italian culture; Information about the project; Youthpass and learning; Task-related specific competencies.
