Open Doors Budapest | ESC Team Volunteering Project in Hungary (Fully Funded)

An open call for 30 young people aged between 18 and 30 from ESC program countries who are willing to join a 2-week ESC Volunteer Camp in Budapest, Hungary, to join the "Open Doors Budapest" project. The Volunteer Camp is organized by Salva Vita Foundation from January 21 to February 3, 2025. The project is funded by the European Solidarity Corps programme and covers accommodation, meals, pocket money, and travel expenses.

About the Volunteering

"Open Doors Budapest" is a 2-week ESC volunteer camp organized by Salva Vita Foundation in Budapest! This unique program brings together young people aged 18–30, with and without disabilities, to learn from each other and practice essential everyday life skills that support independent living.

During the weekdays, volunteers will work together on improving and maintaining our inclusive community space through activities like gardening, cooking, cleaning, and small repairs. Alongside the practical work, we’ll focus on personal growth, teamwork, and building a supportive community. The camp offers a safe, welcoming environment where inclusion and cooperation are key. It’s a great chance to be part of a close-knit and meaningful experience this summer.

You can spend your weekdays beautifying Szeglet and its surroundings, discovering yourself, spending valuable time with your peers, and gaining work experience. The number of participants is limited to 9 (7 Hungarians and 2 foreigners), so the community works as a small, cohesive team.
