Now you can apply for volunteering with Scout Adventures and join the Scout Adventure UK Trainee (UK residents) or the Residential Volunteering Programme (UK and non-UK residents).

It's an excellent opportunity to dive into a world of outdoor challenges and excitement, with activities like abseiling, kayaking, and zip-lining, all while inspiring young people to develop valuable life skills.

It's not just about the thrills; you’ll forge lasting friendships, enhance your teamwork and leadership abilities, and give your CV a significant boost with a range of transformative experiences. There’s no greater thrill than witnessing a young person overcome their fears because of your support. You’ll get comprehensive induction training, earn recognised qualifications in various activities, and gain valuable skills in areas like customer service, retail, catering, hospitality, and event planning.

There are two types of Volunteering programs with Scout Adventure:

Option 1: UK Volunteer Trainee Instructor Programme (UK applicants only)

This programme allows you to join an incredible team that delivers unforgettable experiences to thousands of young people. You’ll be a key part of the 2026 journey, with the chance to both learn and share a wide range of new skills, all while being surrounded by a supportive community of volunteers. Applicants from the UK will join an exciting 11-month programme of challenges.

Option 2: Residential Volunteer programme (UK and international applicants)
