About the YGS 2026

The Yenching Global Symposium (YGS) 2026 is a prestigious international conference hosted by the Yenching Academy of Peking University. Held every spring, it brings together approximately 200 participants, including 100 international delegates selected from thousands of applicants worldwide. Each year, YGS features distinguished Chinese and international speakers, scholars, professionals, and officeholders, offering lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions on topics surrounding China and the world.

The symposium’s annual themes, carefully chosen by the YGS Executive Committee, reflect contemporary global and Chinese perspectives. YGS 2026 continues this mission by providing a platform for emerging leaders to engage with China’s global role.
