An open call for young people aged 18-30 from all European Union countries, who are eager to do volunteer work, get their hands in the soil, and be part of an international community to join the ESC Teams Volunteering "Spring Garden" which takes place in Etyek, Hungary, from 2-22 April 2026. This volunteering project is organised by "SZATYOR Association" and funded by the European Solidarity Programme of the European Union.
About "Spring Garden"
The "Spring Garden" is a 3-week volunteering project that invites young people from European Union countries, aiming to transform and care for our permaculture garden, where nature, creativity, and cooperation come together. Through practical activities like planting, building, renovating, and small DIY projects, you will help shape a living space that benefits both people and the environment.
Furthermore, you’ll gain hands-on experience in permaculture and sustainability, exchange ideas, and learn how simple actions can create lasting impact. The project is also about connection and celebration: we will open the garden to the local community, share food, exchange seedlings and stories, and celebrate Easter together by discovering Hungarian traditions while sharing your own. If you are curious, motivated, and eager to learn, contribute, and celebrate together, this experience is for you.
