An exciting opportunity for university students from all over the world to apply for the 20th edition of the Bucharest Summer University, an international cultural and academic event which will take place between 9th and 23rd of August 2026 at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania. The Bucharest Summer University (BSU) is organized annually by the Bucharest University Student Union and the Bucharest University Student Senate, with academic guidance from one of the university's twelve faculties, and offers students around the world a unique combination of academic rigor and cultural exploration.
About Bucharest Summer University 2026
The Bucharest Summer University (BSU) is the official international summer school of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). Organized annually by the ASE Students’ Union (USASE) and the ASE Students’ Senate, with academic mentorship from one of the university’s twelve faculties, BSU offers students worldwide a unique blend of academic rigor and cultural exploration.
All academic sessions will revolve around this year’s exciting topic: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬: 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲.
Throughout the two-week program, participants will take part in a dynamic mix of courses, seminars, workshops, and debates, led and moderated by renowned professors as well as national and international experts in the field. These sessions are designed to spark critical thinking, innovation, and real-world insight into how artificial intelligence is transforming the world of marketing.
Beyond the two weeks of classes, BSU is all about making unforgettable memories. Participants get the chance to dive into Romanian culture through exciting activities such as the Bucharest City Tour, an adventurous weekend trip, fun teambuilding activities, vibrant social events, and the famous Global Village, where everyone showcases their country with traditional food, music, and more. And that is just the beginning, with plenty of surprises and good vibes waiting along the way.
Eligibility | Who can Apply?
The Bucharest Summer University is open for:
- University Students from all levels (Bachelor, Master, or PhD);
- Students aged between 18 and 26, from all around the world;
- Students must have a good command of English, since it is the main language of the summer school.

Finance and Benefits
To take part, you have to choose between three categories of applications: Full Scholarship, Partial Payment, or Total Payment.
For Full Scholarship

For Partial Payment
Price: 550 € (Early Bird)

Please note: Regardless of the payment option you choose, the BSU organising team will guarantee you the following throughout the programme:
- Accommodation in Moxa D student Dormitory, in cozy and modern double bedrooms with two people per room.
- Three meals per day.
- Transportation from the airport upon arrival and to the airport.
- Weekend trip (including hotel accommodation, meals, and transportation)
- Academic courses and extracurricular activities.
Please note that none of the options covers travel to or from Romania. VISA arrangements and plane tickets are not provided or reimbursed by the institution.
