Małopolski Youth Festival 2026 | ESC Team Volunteering in Poland (Fully Funded)

An open call for 30 participants aged between 18 and 30 from the European Union countries to join a one-month ESC Team volunteering Project "Małopolski Youth Festival 2026", which takes place in Rabka-Zdrój, Poland, from 3rd of June to 7th of July 2026. This project is organized by "Europe4Youth" and funded by the European Solidarity Corps Programme of the European Union.

About the Volunteering Project

The plan is that 30 ESC team volunteers, in collaboration with local partners, will organize a series of events lasting one week, consisting of workshops, shows, cultural, social, and youth policy events. The set of these events was developed on the basis of a diagnosis of the needs of young people in the Lesser Poland region.

The main aims of the Małopolski Youth Festival 2026 are : 

  • Raising awareness on European opportunities for young people among youth in the region, 
  • Empowering young people to operate successfully within civil society in their town, 
  • Offering opportunities for young people in the Lesser Poland Region
  • Offer possibilities for integration for the local community.

What you can expect

- Working hours for volunteers each day are from 10:00 to 17:00; weekends are free, except during the festival, and the working hours may change.

- Volunteers have the right to use 2 additional days off, on dates offered by the organizer.

- During the first two weeks, we are going to get to know each other, cover the most important topics, and learn skills that will allow us to organize the festival. 

- Possible types of events that we will organize are:
  • Music workshops, culminating in a concert during the festival 
  • Intercultural learning events (dance evenings, cooking, etc.)
  • Mental Health Workshops
  • Living Library
  • Volleyball Tournament
  • Youth Info
  • Debate
  • Gaming tournament
  • Art Exhibition and many more

Eligibility | Who can apply?

- Young people aged between 18 and 30 from these countries ( Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden).

be open to learning and self-development

- be able to work in groups, but also independently (which means that you also need to have good time-management skills)

- agree with and respect European Solidarity Corps values

- be flexible, creative, and motivated

- be willing to learn how to run profiles on social media, make films (stories, reels, etc.), and record podcasts

- be willing to learn to organize and manage social, cultural, and educational events and workshops

- be tolerant and accepting of other people, their ideas, and cultures


Expenses and Benefits

You will be accommodated in the Training and Education Center of Europe 4 Youth Association in Rabka-Zdrój, ul. Cicha 12.

- It is a cozy and comfortable place, with diverse and healthy meals (3 per day), a place to rest, integrate, and work. Rooms are 2-3 persons, and one for 5 - all of the rooms have a private bathroom.

Sheets and towels will be provided. Please take comfortable shoes or slippers with you. In the venue, you can also find a piano, loads of board games, a chill zone, and an outside pool. 

You will also be provided with 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner). 

You must bring a European Health Insurance Card with you, as it is a requirement for getting insurance provided by ESC!

- Volunteers are entitled to get a daily pocket money (6-7 EUR/day) for the entire volunteering days.

 Each volunteer is entitled to get a travel reimbursement for (one return journey) up to the maximum cost as stated in the ESC programme rules according to the following limits:

Note: If you travel green (e.g. no planes at all), the travel cost limit raises and you can travel longer (max 3 consecutive days in one way), as long as the travel is connected to the activity.
  • from 10-99 km: standard travel (28 EUR), green travel (56 EUR)
  • from 100 - 499 km: standard travel (211 EUR), green travel (285 EUR)
  • from 500 - 1999 km: standard travel (309 EUR), green travel (417 EUR)
  • from 2000 - 2999 km: standard travel (395 EUR), green travel (535 EUR)
