European Neighbourhood Courtyards | ESC Volunteering in Poland (Fully Funded)

An open call for young people aged between 18 and 30 from across Europe who are willing to join a short-term volunteering project, which supports a high-level international event focused on economic cooperation, investment, and innovation. The ESC Teams Volunteering "European Neighbourhood Courtyards" takes place in Gdansk, Poland, from the 16th of June until the 6th of July 2026. This volunteering project is organised by "Regional Volunteer Center in GdaÅ„sk" and funded by the European Union through the European Solidarity Corps Programme.

About the Volunteering

In June 2026, Gdańsk will host an international meeting of representatives from governments, finance, and business sectors, focused on economic cooperation, investment, and partnership-building in areas such as infrastructure, energy, and new technologies.

Selected Volunteers will support the organization of the event by assisting with logistics, helping coordinate participants’ stay, and providing on-site support to guests. Their role will contribute to the smooth running of the event and ensure a welcoming environment for international participants.

Alongside the main activities, volunteers will also engage in local community initiatives in nearby neighborhoods. These will include organizing outdoor games and playground activities, supporting community integration, and assisting in neighborhood events. Volunteers will work with children through creative workshops, sports activities, and educational games, promoting active participation and informal learning. They will also contribute to ecological actions such as gardening, zero-waste initiatives, and environmental workshops, raising awareness about sustainability and responsible living.
