Call for Group Harvesters – EU Youth Conference 2026 in Dublin, Ireland (Paid)

An excellent opportunity for young people from across Europe to be one of 10 group harvesters at the "EU Youth Conference 2026", which takes place in Dublin, Ireland, from 27 to 30 September 2026. National Youth Council Ireland is looking for 10 Group Harvesters to capture the workshops during the European Youth Conference. Selected applicants will be paid and receive a travel allowance, accommodation, and meals.

About the opportunity

The European Union Youth Conference 2026 is seeking 10 Group Harvesters to support the conference in Dublin. Harvesters will document workshop discussions, record key recommendations, support facilitators, and help produce reports that contribute to the outcomes of the EU Youth Dialogue process.

This high-level event will bring together young people from across Europe and EU candidate countries to explore the cycle of Youth Dialogue on Goal 4: Information and Constructive Dialogue.

Specific tasks of a group harvester are:

• helping to formulate the outputs of the working groups and collaboration
with researchers or the editing team in this respect

• making sure the discussions, as well as different inputs and key outcomes, are reflected in a report template

• supporting the dialogue with experts and policymakers within the working group

• providing general support to the facilitator, the researchers and the editing team.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- Be an EU/EEA/Swiss/UK citizen (or otherwise have the legal right to work in Ireland without requiring a work permit). 

- Candidates with a good knowledge of Youth Policy.

- Experience in leading groups of participants with different levels of knowledge and diverse profiles.

- Excellent proficiency in English.

- Showing initiative, flexibility, and creativity.

- Having good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

- Having excellent communication skills with young people. 


Expenses and Benefits

- The daily fee will be €300 (including taxes), which means €1500 for the whole conference days

- Travel, Food and Accommodation will be provided (Friday 25th Accommodation covered subject into funding)

- 5 days’ work including preparatory briefings.
