Erasmus+ Training Course "Write a project, Make a Change" in Paphos, Cyprus

An open call for 27 youth workers, NGO members, and youth activists who would like to learn how to write and submit an Erasmus+ KA1 project (youth exchanges and training courses). This project takes place in Paphos, Cyprus, from 31 October to 7 November 2026.  The training is organized by IEEN (Youth NGO) and funded by the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth. 


About the training course

The training course "Write a project, Make a Change" is dedicated to youth workers and NGO members who want to develop their project writing competences. The project will be very practical, and all participants will work on the KA1 E+ application form in international teams. The training is open to people with some experience in writing application forms, but also for beginners in E+ project writing.

The project's main objectives are:

1. Improve participants’ competences in writing E+ projects by being able to create SMART objectives, a timetable, and dissemination activities for their future projects.

2. Develop participants’ skills in understanding target groups' needs, developing a management plan, and creating a positive impact in the community with E+ projects.

3. Improve participants’ attitude towards writing projects- they will feel more confident in their skills, and they will be more motivated to produce change.

4. Encourage new partnerships between the organizations that the participants represent.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- Application is open for 27 participants who are aged over 18 and living in one of these countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland).

- The project is mainly addressed to 

  • Youth workers who are currently working with young people
  • Trainers who want to start writing projects
  • Volunteers in non-profit organizations that want to become project writers
  • People who participated in E+ projects and want to start writing their own projects
  • Members of informal groups
  • People who want to open their own NGO and start writing projects

Expenses and Benefits

- There is no participation fee, since the project is financed by the Erasmus+ programme.

- Selected Participants will be accommodated in triple rooms with separate beds; the hotel is all-inclusive with a wide variety of food. 

- Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to the rules of the Erasmus+ programme, as follows: 
  • For participants from Cyprus: up to 23 EUR
  • For participants from Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia: up to 309 EUR
  • For participants from Poland, Netherlands, Spain, Lithuania, Germany, France: up to 395 EUR
- Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser for recognition of their competence development during the activity.
