ICYF International Media Training Camp 2026 in Antalya, Turkiye (Fully Funded)

An exciting opportunity for 200 participants from OIC Member States or members of Muslim communities in non-OIC countries who are interested in enhancing their skills in journalism, digital media, and storytelling to join the "ICYF International Media Training Camp 2026". The camp takes place in Antalya, Türkiye, for 6 days. The camp is organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) in co-organization with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye and in partnership with TRT Journalism for Juniors (J4J) and FOKUS PLUS.

About the training camp

 The "ICYF International Media Training Camp 2026" is a valuable platform for young participants to enhance their skills in journalism, digital media, and storytelling while promoting ethical and dynamic media practices.

Through an intensive program led by experts, participants will gain the tools to address critical global issues, amplify marginalized voices, and contribute to positive societal change.

By promoting collaboration, cultural exchange, and responsible media practices, the ICYF International Media Training Camp empowers young people to become informed, active, and socially responsible individuals committed to creating a positive impact in their communities and beyond.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- Young People aged between 18 and 25 years who are citizens of any of the OIC Member States or members of Muslim communities in non-OIC countries.

Demonstrate proficiency in English.

Show interest in media, research, storytelling, or community engagement.

Have never joined the ICYF media camp in the previous year.


Expenses and Benefits

International participants will pay for their own international travel expenses in advance; then ICYF will reimburse international travel costs for participants up to $250 (USD).

Local participants will cover their own domestic travel expenses in advance; then ICYF will reimburse the domestic travel costs for participants (who live in Türkiye) up to 3500 TL (Turkish Lira).

All local transfers from /to (AIRPORT / BUS STATION) will be arranged and covered by the host organizer.

The Host Organizers will cover accommodation, food, and city tour costs related to local hospitality. 

- Health insurance coverage during the camp will be provided to participants by the host organizer. Any additional insurance requirements, including but not limited to travel insurance, shall be arranged and covered by the participants at their own expense.

- Obtaining the visa (including fees) is entirely the participant’s responsibility. Upon request, the ICYF can provide an invitation letter to support the participant’s visa application process.

- Participants who complete and fully attend the camp will receive a Certificate of Participation jointly issued by ICYF and the program partners.

Important Note: Participation priority will be given to those who will cover their flight tickets.

Selection Process

- The Selection Committee will evaluate the applications based on eligibility and criteria. If the committee decides on further information, it can set an online interview as the last stage of selection.

Selected participants will receive an email confirmation including camp program details. 

ONLY selected participants will receive an email of acceptance to the camp.
