About the Project

" workcamp in Spa Park" is an ESC short-term volunteering for 2 weeks in Poland. Young volunteers will be required to do manual work for 6 hours a day for 5 days a week in the open air. The main tasks will be cleaning and maintenance work on a historic park and this will include weeding, tree cutting and building renovation. It may also require participation in cultural events organised by the Foundation for local children.


Project Location

Spa Park in Głuchołazy, Poland. is a historic town in southwestern Poland with approximately 13,534 inhabitants as of 2019. It is located within the Nysa County of Opole Voivodeship (province), near the border with the Czech Republic.


Finance

 Volunteers will be accommodated in Artist’s House in the Spa Park.

- Accommodation will be in shared rooms, on sleeping mats with access to WC and warm showers. 

All the meals will be provided at place by Benevolens Foundation.

There is a meadow with open fire place to volunteers’ disposal.

- You should take your sleeping bags, towels and house shoes.


Duration

A total of 2 weeks from 06/08/2022 to 20/08/2022


Eligibility

- You should be a resident in one of the following countries to apply.

Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Moldova (Republic of), Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Russian Federation, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Ukrain.

- You have between 18-30 years old.

- You are interested in landscape protection, history and culture.

- You have to be moderately fit, can chop and saw wood, like gardening and forestry works.

- Have a passion with nature and cultural heritage.
