The Polish Robert Schuman Foundation is looking for 17 international volunteers to support 8 host organisations in Poland in some volunteer projects within the European Solidarity Corps programme. The program will provide all travel and living costs for volunteers in Poland.
About the project
Volunteers will perform a range of activities with 8 host organisations in Cities like Warsaw and Silesia, the activities will be such as:
- Visit European schools and clubs all over Poland with presentations
Self-developed workshops on Europe, the European Union, Europe values and other topics related to volunteer interests linked to the project's mission
- Encouraging international volunteering and European Solidarity teams by organising an information point and activities of interest to them (e.g. visiting universities, preparing information materials, podcasts, etc.)
- Assisting with Schuman Foundation's current civic and European projects.

Finance and Benefits
- Travel expenses to and from Poland will be covered as follows
- For travel distances between 0 and 99 kilometers: €23 per participant.
- For travel distances between 100 and 499 km: 180 EUR per participant (210 EUR in the case of “green” travel).
- For travel distances between 500 and 1999 KM: €275 per participant (€320 in the case of “green” travel).
- For travel distances between 2000 and 2999 km: 360€ per participant (410€ in the case of “green” travel).
- For travel distances between 3,000 and 3999 km: 530 EUR per participant (610 EUR in the case of “green” travel).
- For travel distances between 4000 and 7999 km: 820 euros per participant.
- For travel distances of 8000 km and more: 1500 euros per participant.
- The Schuman Foundation will reimburse the costs of visa (if appear).
- The host organisation will provide rented apartment equipped with all necessary utilities for volunteers in in Będzin (town next to Wojkowice)
- Each volunteer will have his/her private room.
- Each volunteer will get about 120 euro per month as pocket money.
- Each volunteer will get 100 euro per month for food.
- Transport card for local transportation in Silesian region is provided.
- Volunteers from the EU are obliged to have European Health Insurance Card, if possible. Volunteers will be also enrolled to an insurance plan at CIGNA insurance company, which is valid only if EHIC is not applicable.
- Volunteers hosted in kindergartens and bilingual school will have to undertake sanitary medical tests, as it is required by Polish law. The Schuman Foundation will cover their costs and assist in the process.
Eligibility
- Aged between 18 and 30 years.
- legally residing in one of the participating and partner countries in ESC.
the EU Member States or one of the following countries: • North Macedonia and Turkey • Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway • Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia • Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine • Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia • Russian Federation
- All candidates must be registered in the European Solidarity Corps database.
- No specific knowledge, skills or experience is required as the necessary ones can be acquired during the project.
- Have a strong will of learning Polish language.
