CrossCulture Programme Fellowships 2023 in Germany (Fully Funded)

An excellent opportunity for young workers and those working in civil society organisations to join CPP fellowship in Germany or one of CPP partner countries for a period of 2 to 3 months. The program is fully funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. in 2023, Fellowships will be offered as a digital as well as on site fellowships. participants may decide on one of these two options.

About CCP

The CrossCulture Program (CCP) funds a training program in a group of host civil society organisations in Germany or CPP partner countries. The program is open to 40 countries and allows participants to deepen their expertise, form new contacts and acquire multicultural skills. In turn, host organisations benefit from the expertise, regional knowledge, and networks of CCP Fellows. Participants can also attend multicultural and networking workshops and professional events hosted by CCP. Returning to their daily working life, participants then bring the experience they have gained back to their local institutions.

Fellowships are principally awarded to people working in one of the following fields:

- Policy and society

- Media and culture

- Human rights and peace

- Sustainable development

In addition, in 2023 the following key topics will also be focussed on:

- Digital civil society

- Climate justice


Finance and Benefits

- Collaboration with a guest organisation from the CCP network, either on site or online.

- Mentoring for the duration of the fellowship.

- Inclusion in the CCP alumni network.

- Networking with other CCP Fellowship holders.

for participants from outside Germany, the ifa will cover the following costs

- the coverage of costs for round-trip airfare, accommodation, health insurance and monthly public transportation ticket.

- Any visa fee incurred will be reimburised.

for participants from Germany, the ifa will cover the following costs

- Monthly accommodation allowance of 550 euros.

- A monthly stipend of 550 euros.

Eligibility

- You must be at least 23 years old at the time of Application.

Citizen of one of the eligible countries ( Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Germany, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Republic of Moldova, Russia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan).

- Have at least 2 years of proven professional eperience or volunteer work in a civil society organisation in the country of Region.

- Have a good written and spoken skills in English.

- Have a good health for a longer stay abroad.

- Having further language skills, particularly German. ( Desirable not a condition)

Note: Students can't participate in this programme.


Required Documents

- Your CV in English with details about education/training, work experience, volunteering and other skills.

- Recommendation Letter from a supervisor in the applicant’s home organisation in the applicant’s country of origin, using this template

Timetable

Deadline: Deadline for the applications is 22th of December 

Selection: Selected applicants will be informed accordingly by e-mail, presumably in April. 

Programme time : participation subsequently takes place in the period May-November 2023.
