An opportunity for 39 youth workers and trainers to participate in Erasmus+ training course "Art for Being Creative - ABC training on creativity for social inclusion" in Batumi, Georgia from 15-23 October 2023. The project if co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European union.

About the training

"ABC" is a specially created training course aims to increase social inclusion and bring up change in local communities by developing creativity fluency, social competencies in improvisation and theatre, teamwork, and the production of new projects.

39 youth workers are going to involve themselves in the subject over seven days while playing, learning, and assimilating our working techniques for both small and big groups. The purpose of this activity is to increase your creativity, improve your problem-solving and creative thinking abilities, and provide you with the methods and tools you need to develop and design local projects that will improve social inclusion and community development in your respective countries. 

The learning by doing approach ensures many interactive activities, such as role-plays, simulations, improvisation theatre techniques and sharing best practices. We will have long debrief sessions on all the elements of each method, ensuring a detailed understanding for all participants.


Project Venue

Gonio – is a settlement near Batumi, in Gonio-Kvariati district. Itis located on the left side ofthe river Tchorokhi. Gonio is one ofthe popular Black Sea resorts in Georgia. Our Guest House in Gonio is located 14 km from the Batumi Railway Station, 8 km from the Batumi International Airport.


Eligibility

This opportunity for 39 Youth workers, Youth leaders, Trainers, Volunteers, Youth policy makers, NGOs key staff who are:-

- Resident in one of these countries (Czech Republic - Estonia - France - Germany - Italy - Romania - Spain - Armenia - Georgia - Moldova - Ukraine)

- Age limit is over 18 years old

- Responsible, motivated, and open to opportunities for learning and new experiences

- Open-minded and adaptable to new information, opinions, and attitudes; familiarity with and experience dealing with NFL programs (preferred but not required.

- Ready to contribute to the project implementation: share relevant knowledge and experience, organise a workshop, lead a session, etc.

- Have a good command of English language.

Note: The selection will be done strictly depends on the applications. the priority will be given to applicants with a suitable matching profile, constructive detailed application, as well as for participants with fewer opportunities.


Finance and Benefits

- There is a contribution fee 40 EUR, which will be collected in cash upon arrival.

- The accommodation will be in a Jujuna Guest House.

- The accommodation will be in shared rooms between 2,3 or 4 participants from the same gender from different countries. the rooms have individual bathrooms. Bed linen and towels are provided.

- The organisers will provide the breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 coffee breaks per day.

- International travel tickets will be reimbursed within the travel grant for Erasmus+ programme as follows:-

Armenia, and Georgia: 180 EUR / Participant

Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine: 275 EUR / Participant

Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, and Italy: 360 EUR/ Participant

France: 530 EUR/ Participant

Spain: 820 EUR/ Participant


Participation

Full participation and being on time at sessions is required and it may be a condition for repaying your travel costs.

Active inclusion. We expect to have a contribution-based process, with reliable input from your experience.

One full day for exploring cultural and historical heritage and social community of Georgia.

The training course consists of two parts. During the first part, you will explore the methods that we created and work with. also, we will explore the main social challenges that we have in our local communities. During the second part, you will have the opportunity to organise your workshop or lead a session on the relevant topic.


What to bring?

- Valid passport for travel

- Travel/health insurance, valid in Georgia fort he whole duration of the project

- All the required travel documents (all the tickets, invoices and boarding passes)

- Laptop (we will have the digital tasks during the last two days)

- Comfortable shoes, outdoor light clothes and backpacks, warm clothes (it might be warm during the daytime and chilly in the evenings within the period of the project)

- Personal hygiene items and the medicine you may need

- Traditional things from your country food, drinks, sweets, etc.
