About Lublin

Lublin is the European Youth Capital 2023, Lublin is the ninth-largest city in Poland and the second-largest city of historical Lesser Poland. In the sixteenth century, Lublin had a significant symbolic impact on the history of Central and Eastern Europe. These days, it may be a significant venue for conversations on European ideals and the importance of youth participation in the growth of democracies. People in Lublin, a border city between Belarus and Ukraine, nevertheless struggle to identify the democratic ideals of the New Europe.


About Lublin Triangle Youth Event 

Lublin Triangle Youth Event will be a FORUM for 60 young people and Youth leader working in the field of youth democratic engagement who are willing to share their experiences and talk about the new issues that will arise in the third decade of the twenty-first century.

The FORUM's goals are as follows:

- To discuss prospects for international collaboration for bettering the quality of youth involvement activity within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.

- To examine excellent and poor practices of youth participation.

- To promote democratic involvement among youngsters while placing a specific emphasis on cutting-edge tools and leadership abilities.

Participants will have the chance to interact with opinion leaders and members of civil society from around Europe during the forum.


Eligibility

- Aged over 18 years old.

- Resident in one of the following countries:
  • Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden. Switzerland, Türkiye.
  • Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine.
- Active in the field of youth, youth leader, youth worker, youth policy maker, trainer, etc.




Financial conditions

- There is no participation fee for participants from Eastern Partnership countries.

-  Participants from the Programme Countries are asked to get in touch with their National Agency to get further information on this. The policy of each NA will determine this. usually there is a participation fee between 0 to 200 EUR depends on the country.

- The National Agency of Erasmus plus and European Solidarity Corps in Poland will organise the accommodation and cover the costs of the accommodation and the food.

- If you are selected you have to contact with your National Agency or SALTO Resources Center to ask about the travel reimbursements. - Most of the National agencies will reimburse the travel costs for the economy class tickets to the extend of 95% from the total amount of the tickets ( you need to check your National agency website about that as well).

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity.
