Open call for 24 participants to join the Erasmus+ training course "Step'IN" for one week. This training is organised by Tudatos Ifjúságért Alapítvány and co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ programme.

About "Step'IN"

"Step'IN" is a training corse for youth workers, and youth leaders focusing on developing the skills and competences of youth workers, youth leaders and volunteers to empower them to take up leadership positions and to prepare them with tools to lead a youth groups and communities. Participants will be encouraged to take on greater leadership roles within their organisations, create more initiatives involving and benefiting youth, and improve their capacity to offer youth work of a higher caliber. The project objectives are as follows:

To identify the vital role of youth work in our communities and to appreciate the significance of youth workers;

-To give participants a variety of resources to help them learn and hone their organisational management abilities;

- To teach leadership, teamwork, and effective communication skills;

- To build competencies for utilising tools, non-formal and informal educational methods of decision making, and strategic thinking;

-To give participants a forum for conversation and the exchange of best practices while utilising the tandem technique to enhance their leadership abilities.


About the training program

The training course will use an interactive and participatory approach. In addition to self-directed peer learning, where partners equitably share their knowledge while focusing emphasis on integration and supporting independent learning experiences, the processes of learning from each other and learning by doing will be critical. 

The training program will encourage involvement, communication, and innovation. Our training program will make use of informal and non-formal learning resources.


Eligibility | Who can apply

This training is designed for Youth workers, youth leaders, facilitators, community leaders, educators, Those who support humans in their development, and change makers.

- Participants should be from the Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries Austria, Belgium - DE, Belgium - FL, Belgium - FR, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, or Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestine, Russian Federation, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine

- Participants must be over 18 years of age;

Participants need to have a sending/ support organisation from their country of residence;

- Participants should be able to communicate English language, since it is the working language in the training. 


Practical conditions and Benefits

- A participation fee of 60 EUR per participant is expected to be paid as contribution.

- The training course will be held at Creative Space, A Youth Centre in Hollókő which is suitable with all its capacity for a group with various learning needs.

- Participants will be accommodated in shared rooms with private facilities.

- There is a huge meeting room, some cozy areas, a dining area and a huge garden for our use.

- For participants with a visa, the host organisation can reimburse you up to 100 EUR / person for visa and visa application costs.

According to Erasmus+ program rules, there are limits for the travel reimbursements depends on the direct distance between your place and the project venue as follows:

for travel distance between 100 and 499 km: 180 EUR / person

for travel distance between 500 and 1999 km: 275 EUR / person

for travel distance between 2000 and 2999 km: 360 EUR / person

for travel distance between 3000 and 3999 km: 530 EUR / person

- The host organisation plans to reimburse your travel and visa costs during the training course in cash (in Euros) or after the TC by bank transfer after we received all the needed documents from you.

- Participants are responsible for their own travel insurance. If you arrive from an EU country make sure you have your European Insurance Card with you!

Departure day: 10 May 2024  after 12:00
