About the Study Visit

Youth@Work is a study visit focusing on Youth Social Entrepreneurship in which you will explore how youth-led initiatives can drive positive social change and create a brighter future for our communities. Youth social entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for facing societal challenges while boosting innovation and leadership among young people. By appealing in social entrepreneurship, young people not only develop valuable entrepreneurial skills but also contribute to building more sustainable and inclusive communities. The Learning Objectives of the Study Visit are: 

Exchange strategies, methods, and resources on the topic of youth social entrepreneurship. 

Explore ways to merge social entrepreneurship into youth work practices. 

Promote collaboration and networking opportunities among participants from various backgrounds and contexts. 

Make people understand why it's important to see how youth workers can help young people get jobs and start their own businesses. 

Create a place where participants can work together and share their experiences to keep helping each other learn and grow.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- The study visit for 24 participants from the following countries ( Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye)

- Participants must be over 18 years old and actively involved in supporting young people's initiative in the field of social entrepreneurship such as youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, coaches, etc.

Those willing to share their experiences, challenges, and successes in the field of youth social entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply.

- Participants will need to part from organisation registered in Erasmus+ programme in their country of residence to apply for this opportunity via SALTO-youth portal.


Expenses & Benefits

- There is no participation fee applying from SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus, however Each participant is required to contact his/her National Agency of Erasmus+ programme to clarify this issue.

- The hosting SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food. 

Participants are required to contact their National Agency (NA) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs or not. 

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity.
