If you are searching for an unforgettable volunteering experience and a chance to meet new people from different cultures and countries, then this is an ideal opportunity for you. Transitioning Seasons & Harvesting at Ängsbacka is an ESC Volunteering programme organised by Ängsbacka Kursgård Economic Association in Sweden and funded by the European Solidarity Corps.
About the volunteering
Ängsbacka invites 11 volunteers from all EU countries to join "Transitioning Seasons & Harvesting at Ängsbacka" volunteering project for six weeks.
Participants will engage in various hands-on activities, such as setting up festival tents and decorations, and harvesting and processing food from Ängsbacka garden and sustainable projects. Many tasks may involve physical labor and outdoor work.
The volunteer experience includes a weekly program of activities like dance, yoga, singing, meditation, reading groups, movie nights, and other practices that offer daily opportunities for authentic and meaningful self-exploration. The community curates this program, so you're encouraged to contribute your ideas and talents and share your enthusiasm in your area of interest!
As an ESC volunteer, you're expected to commit 35 hours per week, supporting Ängsbacka with practical work 5 days a week, 5 hours each day. You'll also participate in morning circles, community circles, sharing, and silent sittings, which are our main community practices. The ESC additionally offers meetings, learning circles, and Swedish lessons. Altogether, these activities will total around 35 hours per week at most.
