Erasmus+ Training course "To Gather" in Altamura, Italy (Fully Funded)

IF you are a youth worker or youth activist interested in increasing your knowledge and experience regarding the methods and practices used to promote youth participation and social inclusion then this is an opportunity 4U to join the "PDA seminar"To Gather"  from 27 November to 2 December 2024 in Altamura, Italy. This seminar is organised by Link APS Association and co-funded by Erasmus programme of the European Union.

Erasmus+ Training course "To Gather" in Altamura, Italy (Fully Funded)

What's "To-Gather"?

"To-Gather" is a PDA seminar organised by Link APS Association aimed at bringing participating organisations together to share practices and methodologies used to promote youth participation and social inclusion. Specifically, the focus of the seminar will be on sharing

the following:

- Strategies for involving youth with fewer opportunities in social impact projects

- Facilitation techniques and methods used in activities with youth

- Ideas for future partnership projects

Throughout each of the three phases, participants will be actively engaged. They will be invited to share their practices and methods, as well as ideas for future collaborations. Participants may also be asked if they would like to lead brief sessions to present the facilitation methodologies they use, such as graphic facilitation, board games, role-playing, music, circus, etc.

Sessions will be conducted to compare and discuss strategies for engaging youth in both local and international activities. Lastly, discussion tables will be set up to collaboratively design new ideas. The final activity schedule will be provided at a later time.


Eligibility | Who can apply?

- The seminar will involve around 25 youth workers from youth organisations working with Erasmus+ program.

- Participants must be coming from one of the following countries ( Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro)

- Participants must be involved in a youth organisation in their country of residence

- Participants must be over 18 years old with no maximum age limit

- Participants should have a good command of English since it's the main language of the course.


Expenses and Benefits

- Participants will be hosted in double rooms at the B&B Malandrì, in the old town of Altamura. Bedsheets and towels are provided by the B&B.

- Activities will be hosted at Agorateca, the community library managed by Link, which is about 20 minutes walk to the city centre.

Your travel expenses will be reimbursed up to a maximum fixed amount as following:

  • from 10 - 99 km: 23,00€ (Standard travel) 
  • from 100 - 499 km: 180,00€ (Standard travel)  / 210,00€ (Green travel)
  • from 500 - 1999 km: 275,00€ (Standard travel) / 320,00€ (Green travel)
  • from 2000 - 2999 km: 360,00€ (Standard travel) / 410,00€ (Green travel)
  • from 3000 - 3999 km: 530,00€ (Standard travel) / 610,00€ (Green travel)

- Each participants are entitled to receive a youthpass certificate after finishing the project.

Note: If you want, you can arrive one day before the arrival day and leave one day after the end. In this case, the accommodation expenses for the extra-days will be NOT covered by the budget, so they will be NOT reimbursed.

Arrival day: 27 November 2024 before 3:00 PM

Departure day: 2 December 2024 after 1:00 PM
