About Salzburg Global Seminar Internship
The internships are full-time and last up to three months. As a vital member of the program team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our programs. Your responsibilities will include assisting with preparation, administration, and implementation. The team will count on your organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
This internship offers unique opportunities to expand your knowledge within our focus areas (Health, Education, Culture, Peace and Justice, Finance, and Governance). It also serves as a platform for building relationships with global thought leaders and change-makers. Whenever possible, interns will be assigned tasks that align with their skills and interests.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching relevant program topics, partners, and participants, and compiling biographies
- Preparing program materials in advance
- Ensuring the smooth operation of events by providing technical and event management support (recording lectures, managing sound systems, microphones, presentation visuals, etc.)
- Offering dependable operational support to the program team and participants during programs
- Taking notes during online meetings and events
- Supporting database management
- Handling administrative tasks such as updating internal documents, printing, copying, and mailing.
Eligibility | Who can apply?
- You have recently completed or are in the process of completing a Bachelor's degree, with a high interest in one of Salzburg Global’s program areas.
- You are passionate about the Slazburg Global Seminar mission;
- You possess a proactive, can-do attitude, with the ability to multitask and adapt to flexible working hours based on program requirements;
- You have strong writing and communication skills in English, including editing abilities;
- You excel in culturally and professionally diverse environments.
- You are proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Applications from all countries are eligible to apply with an age limit of 18-30 years old.
Expenses and Benefits
The internships are full-time and last up to three months. While the position is unpaid, Salzburg Global offers the successful candidates the following:
- Board and lodging at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg
- A round-trip ticket to and from their home country
- Excellent networking opportunities with international participants in our programs.

Application result: organisers will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
Internship start dates for the Program Internships are available in:
- Mid-March 2026
- Early April 2026
- Early September 2026
Should your application be successful, organisers will provide the exact internship dates with the internship offer, due to program scheduling and accommodation reasons.
