About Oceans Network

The OCEANS network is a global organisation of students, alumni, universities and other stakeholders run by volunteers with the help of a service provider funded by the European Commission. OCEANS is open to students or graduates who have undertaken an international credit mobility exchange between the Erasmus+ program and universities in partner countries.


About MYF

The Mediterranean Youth Foundation is the first youth organisation with a Euro-Mediterranean orientation, launched from the Arab Republic of Egypt and led by young people, and aims to serve young people by involving them in social life, especially young people who have less access to opportunities.It is distinguished by being an institution that receives and sends volunteers to and from the European Union. It is also registered in the European Union and holds the Quality Mark.


About Cairo

Cairo is the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt. It is the largest Arab city in terms of population and area, with a history that goes back thousands of years. It is famous for the presence of many historical, archaeological and tourist attractions such as the Amr ibn Al-As Mosque, Al-Hussein District, the Egyptian Opera House, the Egyptian Museum, Salah El-Din Citadel, the Hanging Church, Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, the Coptic Museum, Al-Azhar Mosque, Cairo Tower, and the Church The Greek for Saint George, the Old City Walls, and the Sayyida Zainab Quarter.


About Erasmus+ Fundraising Training 

This training is designed to give participants full experience and knowledge about sources and strategies for raising funds and donations to finance and develop new Erasmus+ related activities in their country.These sources include in-kind support, crowdfunding, membership fees, merchandise sales, European, ESAA and other funding sources, private and public sponsorships and partnerships, etc.


What will you learn?

Knowing how to manage Erasmus+ organisations and also manage their financial resources.

Knowing the different sources of fundraising and aid and obtaining sponsors.

Be inspired to continue developing additional activities for Erasmus+students and alumni in their own countries.

Agree on fundraising objectives for the next 3 years, and develop a plan for the 1st year.

You will gain significant fundraising experience for your organisation by speaking with top organisation managers.


Finance

- No participation fee.

- All travel expenses To and From Egypt will be covered.

- Accommodation and catering for international participants will be covered.

- Catering for local participants in Egypt will be covered.


Eligibility

- No age limit to apply.

- Candidates from all countries working with Erasmus+ can apply.

No prior knowledge of fundraising required.

- Have a good command of English.


Duration

A total of 4 days from 17 march to 20 March 2022 in Cairo, Egypt.
