About The Opportunity
Teaching English in Spain is a teaching opportunity offered by Erasmus In School for the year 2022. Whether you have studied before or not, and whether you have a degree or not, you will be able to discover a teaching position that is right for you while immersing yourself in Spanish culture at the same time.
The Teaching English in Spain program is designed to help Spanish students improve their English language proficiency. On the Erasmus website, you can register as a language teaching assistant and add your resume to get updates on any teaching assistant opportunities open around the world.
there is 11 programs to teach English in Government, Private, Charter schools and private organisations. All these programs available for native speakers but 5 programs only available for non- native speakers. Each program has different salary and additional benefits. Eligibility
- Native and non- Native speakers can apply
- No age limit but The majority of Teaching Assistants are students or recent graduates.
- All Language Assistants must have a criminal record certificate issued by their country of origin as well as medical and visa insurance if necessary.
- You don't need to have studied linguistics, Education or have undertaken another training to be a language assistant.
- Candidates must have good command of English with C1 level.
- Candidates must have Bachelor's degree within the last four years.
- Applicants from outside the European Union who want to teach in Spain need to apply for visa.
- Monthly salary from 330-1400 euro
- Free Spanish lessons
- Some programs provide free accommodation with host Spanish family.
- Assistance to obtain Visa, NIE and Social Security Number.
- Possibility of acquiring the Erasmus In School Diploma/Certificate that formally recognises your teaching experience endorsed and evaluated by the Education centre.
