About the Project
"B.R.I.G.H.T. Future" is a European Solidarity Corps volunteering project for 4 weeks in Mrachenik Village in Bulgaria, the mainly activities for this project will be as follows:-
- Community Building and Environmental actions.
- Practice leadership and Cooperation locally.
- Support local rural needs by volunteer contribution.
- Network with beers, develop projects and ideas related to Erasmus+ and ESC
the PROGRAM TABLE during the project will be as follows:-
First Week: On boarding, orientation, and team building
Second&Third Weeks: local actions in Mrachenik Village
Fourth Week: Finishing reflections
Finance and Benefits
- There is no participation fee.
- Accommodation will be provided by the host organisation, Be ready to live in nature with basic conditions.
- Pocket money 4 EUR Per day
- Food will be provided by the host organisation 3 meals per day (mostly vegetarian, fruits, and extra snack
- Travel expenses from your home country to project venue will be reimbursed after participation in the project according to the distance between your travelling place to the volunteering venue as follows:
- for travel distance between 0 and 99 km: 23 EUR / person.
- for travel distance between 100 and 499 km: 180 EUR / person, +30 EUR extra for Green travel.
- for travel distance between 500 and 1999 km: 275 EUR / person, +45 EUR extra for Green travel.
- for travel distance between 2000 and 2999 km: 360 EUR / person, +50 EUR extra for Green travel.
- IMPORTANT: In case you are officially selected for this project, Do not book travel tickets before confirmation from the host organisation also, keep all your travel documents! Online boarding passes and tickets for reimbursements. No documents = no reimbursement!
Who can Apply?
- The participant must be between 18 and 29 years old.
- Be a resident in EU Country or a Citizen for non-EU Countries who don't visa for Bulgaria for up to 90 days.
- Willing to do community work, and live in basic camp conditions.
- Able to communicate in English.
- You want to develop soft skills, such as willingness, communication, leadership, self reflection, teamwork, accountability.
- You want to increase self-empowerment, self-esteem and sense of initiative
- You are looking for the opportunity to test, try and discover something new.
What to Bring?
- Towels and personal hygiene items.
- Comfortable shoes and clothes.
- Mosquito Repellents.
- Reusable water bottle.

Notes before Applying
- You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
- The program is intensive and challenging.
- The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.
- Apply only when you know you want to participate and you have the dates of the project available.
- Travel reimbursement is only sent to those who fully participate in all phases, including the follow-up and dissemination.
