About "Reforest, Revive"

"Reforest, Revive" is a 2 weeks volunteering project in Riopar, Spain. The project objectives are:

- Increase awareness among young people about the importance of caring for the environment, how to treat it and how to protect it.

- Familiarize and involve them with the work carried out by environmental associations. 

- Know the environmental realities in the different countries participating in the project and analyze the differences, both at the associative and legislative level.

- Improve the skills of the participants.

- Disseminate the results of this project as much as possible, in order to make the greatest number of people aware of the subject matter.

- Reforest the chosen área 7. Increase the forest fires knowledge working methods: - Presentations - Planting activities - Fire sessions - Discussing in Groups - Team Building Activities - Environment activities - Games

Finance and Benefits

The project is fully covered by European Solidarity Corps program and includes:

- The accommodation for the volunteers will be in Mountain Refuge "SAN JUAN", located in Riopar, in the middle countryside. volunteers can enjoy various activities  in the surrounding including trekking, climbing, speleology, etc

-  All meals, insurance and accommodation covered.

- Each volunteer will 75 EUR as a pocket money for whole the time of the project.

- Travel expenses from your home country to project venue will be reimbursed after participation in the project according to the distance between your  travelling place to the volunteering venue as follows:

• for travel distance between 0 and 99 km: 23 EUR / person.
• for travel distance between 100 and 499 km: 180 EUR / person, +30 EUR extra for Green travel.
• for travel distance between 500 and 1999 km: 275 EUR / person, +45 EUR extra for Green travel.
• for travel distance between 2000 and 2999 km: 360 EUR / person, +50 EUR extra for Green travel.

• IMPORTANT: keep all your travel documents! Online boarding passes and tickets for reimbursements. No documents = no reimbursement!

- YouthPass Certificate will be granted for all participants at the end of the project.

Eligibility

- Young people from European Solidarity Corps member countries

- Aged between 18 - 30 years old

- High motivation full participation and love for the environment are required

- Able to communicate and work in English

- Ability to work in team, Active in organising events

- Motivation for cooking and garden

- Note, there is a dog living in the accommodation area, those who cannot or don't want to live with him should abstain
