The Third European Academy on Youth Work Event in Slovenia (Funded)

About EAYW Event

European Academy on Youth Work Event is an international forum for 4 days for youth workers, youth leaders, volunteers, and professionals in areas with relevance for the youth sector to foster the development of quality youth work, assist its ability to react to both present and upcoming changes, and help establish a shared understanding of youth work and youth work policy. In order to do this, it concentrates on encouraging creativity in youth work as a reaction to the patterns, difficulties, and uncertainties that young people encounter in the quickly evolving society of today.

The EAYW provides a platform for reflection, discussion, and knowledge gathering on trends and developments in the youth sector in Europe as well as creative solutions for these developments in youth work. Thus, it makes a contribution to the ecosystem of youth work in Europe, which fosters innovation and high-quality development in this field.

This year 2024, will be the third EAYW event. The second residential EAYW event was held from 31 May – 3 June 2022 and the first EAYW event took place from 21 – 24 May 2019.
